https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/details/ships/shipid:10574183 Back on the boat and back in Arrecife to pick up a new fridge and solar panel that I've had on order. 2/10/26 And here they are! I discovered that my old solar panels were damaged, my fault, and I was only getting about 20% out of them, I was struggling to keep the butter cold. So I've bought these new larger panels that give me up to 80% and now have nearly 5 times as much electricity so have bought a monster fridge giving me an endless supply of cold beer.

21st of September 2026. Puerto Calero marina for 8 nights.

https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/details/ships/shipid:10574183 Anchored again. Friday 11th. Nomad anchored off Papagoya beach. It's too windy for the inflatable so I used the magic waterproof bag to go ashore and stock up in the English Shop with Robinsons Juices (squash is something the Spanish don't do) and Worcester Sauce.

Monday 7th of September 2026. Marina Puerto Calero. Lanzarote.

https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/details/ships/shipid:10574183 They have no room for me in the marina at Arrecife either now nor in a couple of weeks time when I really need it. So I've come into this marina for a few nights to do my laundry etc.

Thursday 27th of August 2026. Marina Rubicon, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote.

https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/details/ships/shipid:10574183 I've booked into the marina here for 3 nights to stock up on food, water, fuel etc. It's rated as maybe the best marina in the Canaries and costs 26 euros a night, way more than I've been used to but then this whole area is like a mini Algarve, very nice. I know the man in the boat next to me from Gran Canaria, Josh, he is a friend of Tino who was in the boat next to me in that marina and although Spanish, used to live in Ruislip for 12 years.
